On the Internet… my low-tech Rickroll is quite popular. It’s in the Rickroll DB of Jdubs, the biggest archive to prevent users from getting tricked by Rick Astley. Starting this wednesday, Jamie and I will put “internets on canvas” into the BLAAK10 Gallery in Rotterdam(NL). The exhibition offers works in progress, about the internet, but without the internet. So e.g. Dennis De Bel will put up Youtube style comments next to our works for the next 4 weeks. Finally we get the chance to print our favourite internet memes on canvas, and hang them into a gallery. Internet memes seem to be more influencial than contemporary artists, so they totally deserve the attention. The closing party will be on January, 8th.

Since no one at my university wants to be elected for the “Student Union Executive Comitee” (ASTA), I decided to start my totally serious election campain without even running for it.
